Age Verification (19+ Only)
Ontario law requires all cannabis retailers to restrict access to adults 19 years of age or older.
Here’s how UpHi ensures age compliance:
- Customers must confirm age on our website’s entry modal.
- Customers must present valid government-issued photo ID when entering either store.
- Online orders also require ID again at pickup.
- Accepted ID includes:
- Ontario driver’s licence
- Government-issued passport
- Ontario photo ID card
- Out-of-province government ID
- Permanent Resident card
- Status card

Online Orders & Pickup Policy
UpHi offers buy online, pick up in-store — a fast, secure service that keeps us fully aligned with AGCO rules.
Key points:
- All online orders must be picked up in person by the same customer who placed the order.
- Valid ID is required at pickup (every time).
- Orders are held during regular store hours.
- Unclaimed orders are cancelled and restocked.

Product Returns
Cannabis returns in Ontario follow strict provincial rules.
Here’s how UpHi handles them:
Cannabis Products
By law, cannabis cannot be refunded or exchanged once purchased unless defective.
In those cases:
- Customers must bring the product, receipt, and ID within 14 days.
- Our team verifies the issue and logs it in accordance with AGCO requirements.
- If the experience was extremely poor — for example, severe flavour or quality issues — UpHi may help connect the customer directly to the licensed producer.
- Licensed producers have discretion in how they respond, and outcomes may vary
Accessories & Vape Carts
For defective vape cartridges or accessories:
- UpHi will replace or refund in-store, provided the product, receipt, and ID are presented within 14 days.

Customer Data & Privacy
UpHi protects customer information in accordance with federal and provincial privacy laws, including PIPEDA.
We commit to:
- Collecting only the information required for legal cannabis sales

Health & Safety Standards
Every cannabis product sold at UpHi is:
- Regulated by Health Canada

This ensures accuracy of THC/CBD content, child-resistant packaging, and full traceability from producer to shelf.

Store Conduct & Legal Limits
To keep our stores safe and compliant:
- Customers may purchase up to 30 grams of dried cannabis (or equivalent) per transaction.
- Legal equivalents include:
- 1g cannabis concentrate = 4 grams dried equivalent
- 1 cannabis vape cart (1g) = 4 grams dried equivalent
- 1g edibles = 5g dried equivalent
- No consumption is permitted on premises.
- We ask customers to store cannabis safely and out of reach of minors.

Do I need to be 19+ to shop at UpHi?
Yes — Ontario law requires all customers to be 19 or older, with valid government-issued photo ID.
Can someone else pick up my online order?
No. Orders must be picked up by the same person who placed them, with matching ID.
Do you deliver?
UpHi does not offer delivery. We focus on secure in-store pickup to ensure full AGCO compliance and consistent service.
Can I return cannabis?
Cannabis can only be addressed if it’s defective. Bring the product, receipt, and ID within 14 days and we’ll help verify the issue and, when appropriate, link you with the producer.
What if my vape cart or accessory is defective?
We replace or refund defective vape cartridges and accessories within 14 days with proof of purchase and ID.
Do I need ID every time?
Yes. ID is required at store entry and again at pickup for online orders.
How much cannabis can I buy in one transaction?
Up to 30g of dried cannabis (or equivalent) per transaction, following Canadian law.
How does UpHi protect my privacy?
We comply with PIPEDA, follow AGCO recordkeeping rules, and never sell or share personal information.
